Transformation: Guy Went From Fit To Obese On Purpose!

Making a solid life decision can be the most difficult thing to do in our society. With so many distractions which presents so many options even staying focused is a challenge. Have you ever been to the grocery store and planned to only buy the “healthy stuff” and then you walk pass the chips, juices and snacks later to find out you left with more junk food than the healthy food?
Needless to say people these days are more concerned about their physical well being than ever before. Though our society is more consciously aware of the benefits a healthy body brings that doesn’t make the achievement easy.
Physical trainer and instructor at Champions Boot Camp, Trevor Alexis knows all about overcoming physical fitness huddles. Trevor from a young age would witness his dad run 7 miles with a 150lb ruck stack on his back every morning. His dad is now in his 70’s and still making that 7 mile run to this day. This inspired Trevor to understand the importance of being psychical healthy which lead him to join the US military.


Trevor never understood what it ever felt like to be not fit or overweight until he was deployed to Afghanistan. The now 28 year old 5.11 220lb strong man put himself to the test by deciding to purposely become Obese gaining 35lbs. His total image altered giving him glut belly making him psychically out-of-shape. Trevor says,
"I wanted to experience the feeling of being overweight in order to relate not only physically but emotionally to anyone who may be in this situation."
Getting back in shape "on purpose" is what he really wanted to prove. Pushing those 35 pounds of fat out of his system with a custom work out plan he created proved that there is truly a champion in anyone who will dare to discipline they're mind to achieve greatness. Well known motivational speaker and life coach, Tony Robins known for demonstrating the power of making active decisions to overcome obstacles by walking across hot coals of fire said “A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there's no action, you haven’t truly decided.”

I think the walking on the fire is metaphorical of any challenge in your life that seems hard to cross. That could mean making the decision to lose wight, eat better or work out regularly. Don't fear, Champion Boot Camp doesn’t make you walk across fire to demonstrate this point, however it is designed for you to be mentally and physically stretched to your limit and beyond. There is a 3 phrase process Trevor teaches that can bring out the champion in you.

#1 The Mind The mind is where you focus and decide to make a change. This can be the most difficult because of the self doubt and external oppositions to your goal. However this shouldn't phase you once you decide and focus.
#2 The Body The body is where you see the results of your focus. You will see the manifestation of your labor once you put in the time and energy. Countless former overweight and out-of-shape individuals have been shocked at they're physical results from no abs to a six pack.
#3 The Spirit The spirit is where you discover you cannot be broken. Your spirit is the culmination of your decision and your results making up the New You! The old you would stop at the limit line, but the new you knows no more limits! That’s called a Champion.
Champion workouts are normally held on Yokota Air Base in Fussa City, Tokyo on Tue & Thu @ 6:30pm-7:30pm,(indoors) Wed @ 6:30pm-7:30pm (Outdoors), Sat @ 9:30pm on the Samurai Training Fields.
